Welcome to Hague Primary School
Message from the Head of School
Welcome to Hague School Website. We hope that you can use it to find the information you need to know or to see some of the amazing learning and experiences that the children enjoy with us. For new visitors we hope that it gives you a taste of what learning and life at Hague is like.
Having worked at Hague for many years, I am delighted and proud to be taking on the role of Head of School. Hague is a friendly, welcoming and successful primary school serving children from 3-11 years old. We have a Deaf Provision for up to 16 pupils who are fully integrated into classes across the school. We are a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, serving a multicultural community in Bethnal Green, the heart of London’s East End. We aim to make maximum use of our location to enhance children’s learning, through visits to museums, galleries and places of special interest which help bring learning to life for our children.
Our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. We want everyone to enjoy learning so our curriculum is designed to be both relevant to our pupils, engaging and challenging - inspiring them to achieve great things for themselves and others. Visitors to Hague often tell us how happy, hard-working and well behaved pupils are. We are very proud of them. They all make good or outstanding rates of progress as a result of great teaching and support for learning. We challenge all our pupils to achieve their best, to develop, knowledge, skills and attitudes which will help them to become successful learners and to develop long and lasting friendships.
Our school values of Achievement, Responsibility, Creativity, Communication and Collaboration underpin all aspects of life in school. We support children to develop these skills and celebrate their progress into becoming well rounded, confident and caring citizens. As a UNICEF Rights Respecting School we teach children about their rights and how we all work together as a community to respect the rights of each other.
We value parent support and look forward to working with you whilst your child or children are at Hague. We hope that your association with the school is a long and happy one. Should you require further information on any aspect of the school then please get in touch we will be pleased to help, especially if it concerns your child.
